1. What Roomfit is
Roomfit is a housing and roommate marketplace. It helps people publish listings, discover places, search for roommates, and start conversations in one place.
We may improve the product over time, but the core idea stays the same: a clean way to find spaces and people that fit.
2. Account and eligibility
You must provide accurate information when you create an account, keep your login details secure, and make sure the information on your profile stays current.
You are responsible for actions taken through your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact Roomfit support immediately.
- Use a valid email address and keep it active.
- Do not share your password or verification codes.
- Only create accounts for yourself or with proper authority.
- Keep your profile details honest and up to date.
3. Listings, profiles, and messages
When you post a listing or a seeker profile, you are responsible for the content you submit, the photos you upload, and the details you choose to share.
You must have the right to publish any image, text, or video that appears in your listing or profile. Messages should stay respectful and should not be used for spam, fraud, harassment, or illegal activity.
- Do not upload misleading, stolen, or unsafe content.
- Do not impersonate another person or property.
- Do not scrape, copy, or redistribute listings without permission.
- Use messaging only for genuine housing and roommate conversations.
5. Safety and acceptable use
Roomfit is a marketplace, so community safety matters. You agree not to use the service to scam, harass, threaten, or deceive other members.
We may review content, limit access, remove listings, or suspend accounts when we believe a rule has been broken or when we need to protect the platform.
- No fraudulent listings or false availability claims.
- No abusive, hateful, or threatening behavior.
- No malware, bots, or unauthorized automation.
- No attempts to bypass security, rate limits, or access controls.
6. Third-party services
Roomfit may rely on trusted third parties for hosting, authentication, media delivery, analytics, payments, and support. Those providers only receive the data they need to help run the service.
If you follow a third-party link from Roomfit, that site has its own rules and privacy practices.
7. Suspension and termination
We may limit, suspend, or end access to Roomfit if we need to enforce these terms, protect users, resolve abuse, or comply with the law.
You can stop using the service at any time. Some records may remain for legal, security, or accounting reasons.
8. Disclaimer and liability
Roomfit provides the service on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that every listing, profile, message, or response will be accurate, available, or successful.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Roomfit is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that arise from the use of the platform.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms when the product changes or when the law requires it. If that happens, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date above.
